Guatemala is the Billfishing Capital of the World – If calm waters and multiple shots at marlin and sailfish every day excite you, then the Pacific coast of Guatemala is your paradise. Guatemala is known for being a hot spot for large Pacific sailfish with the top boats averaging 15 to 20 bites a day. Marlin in the 300 to 700 pound class have always been regularly caught in the area, but in recent years it has not been uncommon to see the top captains raising 4 or more marlin in a day.
